3 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate
1 ounce chopped unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
pinch salt
1 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
basic whipped cream for serving
In the bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade combine chocolates, sugar, and salt. Process on high until chocolates are finely ground. In a medium saucepan heat milk over medium-low heat to just under boiling. Add chopped chocolate mixture and continue cooking, stirring constantly until mixture thickens slightly. About 5 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla. POur into cups and top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
